Cauldon Gold Floral Footed Bouillon Cups & Saucer Sets Burley & Co Chicago ca 1920. Offering a stunning set of 10 (ten) Bouillon Cup & Saucer sets by Cauldon, England for Burley & Co. Chicago in the H8912 pattern. Pattern has a gold floral interior band, followed by a gold band finished with a gold & white scrolled rim. Burley and Company was founded in 1884 from the former Burley and Tyrell, who had advertised themselves as the largest importers of china and glassware.

Burley and Company also had their own artists on staff to do china decorating and monogramming. They ordered from some of the best manufacturers of the day including Minton, Haviland, Copeland-Spode, and probably others.

In some cases, they commissioned items exclusively for Burley and Co. And the sale was finalized in 1923. Cups measure 2 high x 3 ¾ in diameter. Saucers measure 5 5/8 in diameter.

All are in very good antique condition free of chips, cracks or repairs except for one bouillon cup that has a small paint chip to the gold paint on the base as shown in the last photo. There are a few minor scratches on a few of the cups & saucers otherwise they are in excellent condition!
