Fischer & Mieg Paepke & Schafer HP Pink Rose Yellow Gold Demitasse Cup & Saucer Very pretty porcelain footed pedestal demitasse cup and saucer. Nicely decorated with hand painted small pink roses and orange flowers framed in gold gilt ovals, yellow panels with gold gilt seaweed designs, and gold gilt stripes on the inside of the cup and to the saucer. The outside of the cup is yellow with a ring of gold gilt roses.

The saucer has an obscured EPIAG mark with a green hammer with Czechoslovakia underneath. This can be seen if held up to a bright. It is an underglaze mark used by Fischer & Mieg Pirkenhammer between 1920 and 1938.

Also marked P & S with a green wreath. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Paepke & Schafer during the 1930s. Has some minor wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.

The cup measures approximately 3 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide. This is vintage and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
