RARE Aynsley Tea Cup & Saucer Signed Bailey Gold Doris Shape Cabbage Rose Floral

  
This is a very beautiful & rare hand painted duo from Aynsley - signed by artist JA Bailey. A central pink cabbage rose surrounded by forget me nots, poppies & violas - so pretty. It has a pale beige/pale lemon background & the outside of the cup is gold. I believe this is the low'Doris' shape, with high D handle. Stamped on the base - see photos Saucer is 5.5 diameter.

Cup is 2.25" tall x 3.5" diameter. Light wear to the gold on the outside of the cup. The handle is also heavily gilt & has some'crizzling' which occurred during manufacture.
