Royal Worcester Vintage Jewelled Gilded Coffee Set for 6, 1935

  

This shape of cup became synonymous with Royal Worcester in the early 20th century. They made them in various colours, finishes and styles. This particular pattern combines a cream tone ground with delicate trellis gilding and raised white, rich yellow and green'jewels'. Jewelling as a technique involved the delicate application of dots of enamel that are then fired to a jewel like quality.

Cups height: 2.5 inches. Cups diameter: 2.5 inches. Note: one of the cups has a hairline crack.

Other than that the coffee set is in a very good condition and with only minor signs of wear. I know how to professionally pack fragile items.
