The Royal Collection Cups & Saucers (by Aynsley) Cobalt, Red 22kt Gold X Four

  

These were made by the Aynsley Factory in England for The Royal Collection Please note that they bear the Royal Collection back-stamp, and not an Aynsley back-stamp, as they were made on commission. Small Cups & Saucers; English fine bone china; two Cobalt; and two bright Red; finished with opulent 22kt Gold gilding on the insides of the cups, handles & pedestal feet; and on the rims and footwells of the saucers X Four small cups and matching saucers. Small cups stand 5.5cm tall (2 1/4 inches) x 8cm brim width (3 1/4 inches). Small Saucers = 12cm (just under 4 3/4 inches).

All eight pieces retain a healthy ring, clean, no sign of usage: no chips, no cracks, no hairlines, no craquelure, no glaze wear, no paint loss (any white patches are window light reflections on photos only; and not loss of colour), no staining, no cutlery marks, no loss of gold gilding. Four of the cups and two of the saucers have the back-stamp marked as seconds but the only fault I can see is some dull tarnishing to the 22kt gold inside.
